AT HOME HOBBIES

COVID-19 has affected athletes by stripping away the thing they love the most, sports. With this pandemic going on, it is extra hard to figure out how one can stay motivated and push themselves to work hard. However, I’ve found that there’s suddenly a good amount of extra room in my daily schedule which means that I have plenty of time to pick up a new hobby. Here is a list of different ways you can better yourself and explore finding new hobbies:

  1. Stick to a daily routine

  2. Make sure to get your schoolwork done

  3. Do some home workouts to keep you in shape. Here are some of my favorites:

5. Teach yourself a new language

6. Yoga: Quarantining is turning out to be stressful for people because of the lack of social interaction, so getting in touch with yourself should help that cause.

7. Learn sign language

8. Pick up baking

9. Knitting (it's relaxing trust me)

10. Gardening

11. Read some books

12. Deep clean your home

13. Volunteer from home

14. Journaling (Especially with the pandemic, it will be interesting to look back on your experience)
